WEST DIVISION MEN'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Adrian Munguia, Sr., Concordia Texas
Concordia Texas senior
Adrian Munguia (Harlingen, Texas) held steady in the season opener for the Tornados versus St. Thomas. He began with a 6-2, 6-3 triumph in singles action in position 2, and posted an 8-3 win alongside Joshua Bode in doubles play to help secure a 9-0 sweep over St. Thomas.
WEST DIVISION WOMEN'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Jenna Vincent, Fr., McMurry
McMurry freshman
Jenna Vincent (San Angelo, Texas) dropped only seven total games across singles and doubles to help guide the War Hawks to a resounding pair of wins over Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference foes. Part of 9-0, 9-0 wins over TLU and Austin College.
EAST DIVISION MEN'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Snehin Yerragudi, Fr., UT Dallas
UT Dallas freshman
Snehin Yerragudi (Cedar Park, Texas) opened the 2023 season by winning at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles in the Comets' 7-2 win at Mary Hardin-Baylor. He defeated Joaquim Fernandes 6-3, 6-0 and teamed with Eddy Shteyn to top Fernandes and Nicolas Cusano 8-5.
EAST DIVISION WOMEN'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Emma Boulanger, So., LeTourneau
LeTourneau sophomore
Emma Boulanger (Spring, Texas) opened the spring with wins in doubles and singles play. Her 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles clinched a 6-3 match win over Belhaven.
OTHER TOP MEN'S PERFORMANCES
McMurry freshman
Eh Ruh Soe (Dumas, Texas) stepped on the court for the first time for the War Hawks, and immediately impacted the team by dropping just six total games in singles play at number two and teaming with fellow freshman Alfredo Avila to sweep number two doubles against TLU and Austin College. Helped aid a 2-0 start for McMurry as they rolled past TLU 7-2 and Austin College 8-1.
Mary Hardin-Baylor junior Santiago Marin Suarez (Merida, Mexico) was the only Crusader to win in both singles and doubles last weekend versus UT Dallas. Suarez won 7-6 and 6-2 in the number four position. He then teamed up with Spencer Hombeck in doubles to win 8-4.
LeTourneau sophomore
Andres Urrutia (Guatemala City, Guatemala) Urrutia opened the spring by notching a pair of wins in LeTourneau's 5-4 victory over Belhaven.

Concordia Texas freshman
Isabella Cepeda (Georgetown, Texas) in her collegiate debut, Cepeda was stellar as she helped lead Concordia Texas to a 7-2 victory over St. Thomas.
Ozarks sophomore Tatum Hatridge (Salem, Mo.) Tatum posted a win against Hendrix College in singles play. Hatridge won 6-2, 6-4 at the No. 2 position. It was the lone victory for UO in an 8-1 setback.
