EAST DIVISION WOMEN'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Bailey Smith, So., East Texas Baptist
East Texas Baptist sophomore Bailey Smith (Cypress, Texas) was perfect on the week in all six of her matches on Spring Break at the Hilton Head Challenge in South Carolina. She helped ETBU to tie the school record for best start at 9-0. In singles, she wasn't even challenged at #3. In doubles, her and Childress blanked Shenandoah University, 8-0, in the final match of the event. She also had 8-1, and 8-6 wins over Coe College and Carroll University.
 
WEST DIVISION WOMEN'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Zoe Male, Fr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Mary Hardin-Baylor freshman Zoe Male (League City, Texas) went 3-1 overall with a pair of wins in No. 2 singles against Franklin and Marshal 6-0, 6-1 and Connecticut College 6-1, 6-1. Male added a No. 3 doubles win with Emily Higgs, 8-1, to defeat Connecticut’s Chloe Steinfeld/Henrietta Waltz. Male has won all eight of her Line 2 singles this season as a freshman and boasts a 5-1 doubles record overall.
 
EAST DIVISION MEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Chase Rogers, Fr., LeTourneau
LeTourneau freshman Chase Rogers (Camarillo, Calif.) went 3-1 at No. 2 singles and 3-1 with Zach Farris at No. 1 doubles on LeTourneau's spring break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina. He collected singles and doubles wins over foes from Lake Forest, Greenville, and Asbury. The freshman moved to 8-3 overall in singles play on the year and is 8-3 with Farris at the top spot in doubles. This is his second ASC Player of the Week.
 
WEST DIVISION MEN'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Joshua Bode, Gr., Concordia Texas
Concordia Texas graduate student Joshua Bode (Austin, Texas) went 3-3 in a grueling stretch against stiff competition last week. He and doubles partner went 1-2, claiming an 8-4 victory over Rhodes College last Monday. In singles, Bode collected a pair of victories as he cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 win over Rhodes. He then won his line one match over Wesleyan, 6-2, 6-4. In the final matchup with #16 Amherst, Bode was bested against their player who was ranked 49th in the country by a score of 4-6, 2-6. This is his third ASC Player of the Week this spring.
 
OTHER TOP WOMEN'S PERFORMANCES
LeTourneau freshman Grace Rogers (Camarillo, Calif.) went 3-0 in singles play, with one win at the top flight and two at the No. 2 spot, and was 2-1 at the top spot in doubles with Megan LeBlanc as LeTourneau wrapped up its trip to Hilton Head. In singles, Rogers took wins over foes
from Lake Forest and Greenville at the No. 2 flight before moving up to earn a win at the top spot against Asbury. She and LeBlanc went 2-1 at the top doubles spot with wins over Lake Forest and Greenville. Rogers is 9-5 overall on the year in singles and 10-4 with LeBlanc in doubles.

OTHER TOP MEN'S PERFORMANCES
East Texas Baptist sophomore Zachary Couch (Longview, Texas) helped ETBU to a 2-1 week on spring break at the Hilton Head Challenge in South Carolina. He had a tiebreaking win over Carroll College (WI) that helped an ETBU comeback after being down, 2-1, after doubles. He also won his doubles match vs. Illinois Tech, 8-4, with Orren Ladner. ETBU is now 8-3 which continues to be one of their best starts in program history.
 
Ozarks sophomore Kento Iwahara (Fukuoka, Japan) posted a 3-1 record during the week. Against Sterling College, Iwahara won 6-3, 6-3 at the No. 2 position.
